MS Dynamics 365 Business Central Technical Consultant

Responsibilities

  • Build high-quality and future-proof software solutions from requirements that are tailored to the needs of the user and the industry or customer
  • Focus on the design, effort estimation, detailed conceptual design, development/Implementation, Developer Testing, Automated Testing
  • Requirements gathering, feasibility studies, effort estimation, detailed conceptual design
  • Developer documentation, user documentation, versioning and deployment
  • Supervision of the commissioning of new versions, features or customer-specific requirements
  • Configuring new features/functionalities within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central module
  • Designing, modeling, developing, testing and writing automated tests of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central functionalities based on company-specific requirements
  • Evaluate functionality based on value vs effort scale 
  • Understand and refine client requirements
  • Experience in solving problems, being able to analyze tasks of different complexity 
  • Understanding the full scope of the project and sharing knowledge within the team, communicating any blocking situations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central development and customization.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central development tools, including Visual Studio Code and AL.
  • Experience with other Microsoft development technologies, including .NET Framework, C#, and SQL Server.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop customizations, integrations, and extensions for Dynamics 365 Business Central according to technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, project teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
