Intern - System Support Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Provide critical support for systems deployed in cloud environments, specifically within Azure and AWS. This includes managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting various applications and infrastructure hosted on these platforms, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security for the systems that drive our business operations.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot incidents within cloud-based solutions, escalating issues as required to maintain system uptime and performance.
  • Conduct system health checks daily to ensure the stability and proper functionality of Azure and AWS environments.
  • Document issues and resolutions thoroughly to enhance future response times and share insights with the support team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly and identify opportunities for system reliability improvements.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of Azure and AWS services, with experience in Azure Synapse, SQL databases, and Apache Spark as an advantage.
  • Effective communication skills to convey technical details to non-technical users and work efficiently within a team.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) for clear communication and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 support schedule.
